My name is Margaret Given. I am a CNM2 in the operating theatre in Sligo University Hospital (currently on re-assignment). I am undertaking  a MSc in Quality & Safety.

 

I am researching the use of smartphones in the perioperative environment.

 

I am requesting your participation in completing this survey. Your responses to the survey will help me evaluate the prevalence of smartphones in the perioperative environment and determine if they are a source of distraction.

 

The survey is brief and will only take about 5 minutes to complete.

 

Your participation is completely voluntary and consent implied by completion of questionnaire. No personally identifiable information is required ensuring anonymity. All data will be destroyed once analysis is complete.
