The 14th National IARNA Conference took place on the 1st of October, in the beautiful 4 star Mullingar Park Hotel in County Westmeath. The theme for the Conference was "Sharing Successful Practices". IARNA invited nurses to present on their posters in a session of the same name. This is to encourage nurses to celebrate and share successful, evidence-based changes to practice that have had a positive impact on their patients and on care delivery in Anaesthetic and Recovery Room Nursing.

In a change from last year, booking moved to online only. This was to avoid disappointment as the Conference grows, and to facilitate an online database of members so that we can share new developments with all attendees.

Despite a few teething problems this was a great success and the Conference was well attended. It is important to note that to facilitate timely certification and receipts, it is really important to make sure we have your own correct email address and to add info@iarna.ie as a contact to avoid mail going to spam.
